Shinkansen Ultra Evolution Institute Sakurajima Massdriver Testline (新幹線超進化研究所 桜島実験線, acronym: S.M.T.) is a facility of Shinkansen Ultra Evolution Institute introduced in Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion Z.
Description[]
Built upon part of the original Kitoralsus capital, the S.M.T. was established following the aftermath of the Valhallan invasion attempts in order to deal with spaceborne threats. The facility would be incomplete in the SUEI's goals until the new drivers managed to recover Valdor during the current Teoti attacks, and later played a critical role in the mission to bring the former SUEI mechanic Abuto Usui back on the side of humanity.
A large portion of the facility's staff are veterans from the Kitoralsus invasion transferred from Ōmiya Branch following its temporary closure, with the exception of engineer Rei Ozora, who instead came from Moji Branch.
