Smat (スマット) is an ally in Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion Z. He first appears in Episode 01. He is voiced by Jun Fukuyama.

Smat is a robot that can transform into an Ultra Evolution Mobile Z Gear.

Personality[]
Smat is generally cheery and happy, but would also be strict when needed. Unusual for a robot, Smat is programmed to be capable of experiencing hunger, which could be remedied when given matric barcodes - either Z Codes or regular QR Codes - to scan, as the codes act as a meal for him. Smat is also slightly gluttonous, as he was unable to refuse when Shin offered him what was essentially a buffet of QR codes. In the E5 though, he is much more serious, though he retains his general personality.
Like his predecessor, Shashot, Smat usually speaks in honorifics, and has a verbal tic to end his sentences with the honorific copula "-de gozaimasu" (でございます), though it appears less frequently than the former did; when merged with the E5, his verbal tic switches to "-zetto" instead.
