Hokuto Hayasugi is Hayato's father.
He is the director of Shinkansen Ultra Evolution Institute who works in Omiya Branch. In episode 08, he was transferred to Kyoto Branch. Later, He appointed Futaba Mihara to take his job in Omiya Branch. In episode 23, he becomes the driver of shinkalion 500 Kodama.
