Summary[]
When Hayato is taking pictures of the Shinkansen in Mishima, a Shinkansen that is not supposed to be running appears in front of him.
That Shinkansen is "500 TYPE EVA", a dream train that should have already ended its operation.
Hayato chases the "500 TYPE EVA" with great excitement. Beyond that, he sees a futuristic city in the mountains. Hayato learns the name of the inconceivable city when he is taken by the "Horaki Sisters" who happened to pass by.
The name of the city is "Tokyo-3".

- In some broadcasts of the episode, the Neon Genesis Evangelion theme song “A Cruel Angel’s Thesis” used during the transformation sequence of 500 TYPE EVA is replaced by the standard transformation theme of 500 Kodama. Other Evangelion soundtracks used in the episode are also replaced by standard Shinkalion soundtracks.
