About

Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion is a Japanese toy franchise created by Takara Tomy in association with the Japan Railways Group. The toys first launched back in 2015 with a tie-in manga series serialized on the Shogakukan Televi-Kun magazine and a series of promotional videos on YouTube. An anime adaptation by OLM aired in Japan from January 6, 2018 to June 29, 2019, followed by a theatrical movie in December 2019. In January 2021, a new anime on TV titled Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion Z was announced to start airing in April 2021.

Featured Article

Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion Z is the second season of Shinkalion. It was announced in January 2021 to start airing in April of the same year. Unlike the previous season, which aired on TBS, this season will air on TV Tokyo, because TBS has dissolved their anime block in favor of the Olympics. Before Shinkalion Z, Takara Tomy has already aired another season of Tomica and Zoids on TV Tokyo, with both series previously airing on TBS as well.
