The Z 500, when transformed, becomes a humanoid mech, which still keeps it's chest the same the nose of it's shinkansen mode. It bares a slight resemblance to the original Shinkalion 500 Kodama. However, it transforms with only two cars, as opposed to the original 500 with four cars.
