Shinkalion Z 800 Tsubame is an upgraded version of the Shinkalion 800 Tsubame. It first appears in Episode 08 of Season 2.

History[]
Following the original 800 falling into disuse following the initial defeat of Valdor, it was given a Z refit by the SUEI Yokokawa Branch engineers Abuto Usui and Goichi Shima, who traveled to Moji Branch at some point prior to the events of the second season, as part of the Shinkalion Z project developed by the former's then-missing father, Tokonami. The unit was then given a new driver in the form of Yamakasa Nakasu, a child prodigy of the same age as its previous driver Rei Ozora.
Weapons and abilities[]
Much like the original, the Z 800 excels in aerial combat, with an improvement on its Swallow Wings allowing it to fly much more efficiently; the pair of Sub Wings are also removed and replaced by the default leg side shell thrusters like the other Z units. Rather than ranged combat, the Z 800's main weapons are the twin Pantograph Kunai, which it uses in close range slash attacks.
Appearance[]
As a direct upgrade from the original Shinkalion 800 Tsubame, it bares a striking resemblance to its pre-refitted counterpart, but with a number of structural differences.
