When Futaba Mihara told the Team Ōmiya members about her past experience of waiting in a station for her fiancé Yakumo Kurashiki’s arrival, Hayato Hayasugi noted that the sequence happened exactly like the plot of the X’mas Express commercial. An anime remake of this commercial was then showed, with its leading characters (originally portrayed by actress Riho Makise and actor Yukio Nagasawa) portrayed by Futaba and Yakumo instead.
